PONCHO
Poncho is a revolutionary systemic insecticide seed treatment designed to
protect corn seed as well as germinating and young corn plants from soil borne
and surface feeding insects. Poncho provides outstanding protection from
wireworm, cutworm and grubs at the low use rate. In fact, Poncho provides
a much higher level of protection when compared to previous industry standards,
resulting in improved yield potential and yield consistency. Poncho is
from a new family of insecticides, which means it is safer to both the
environment and users working with the product. Research conducted by
Pride Seeds has shown that Poncho provides excellent value to producers in most
corn production situations with trial results showing a three to seven bushel
per acre average yield benefit over the past two growing seasons. Poncho
is only available as a pre-applied seed treatment, meaning that it is applied by
Pride and is on you seed when delivered or picked up from your Pride Seeds
dealer. Unless ordered otherwise, all Pride Seeds hybrids are treated with
Poncho 250 seed treatment.
