    August 3, 2017
PAIN COURT, ON: PRIDE Seeds has announced that Dan Foster has accepted the position of National Marketing Manager.

“We are pleased that Dan has agreed to undertake this exciting opportunity,” said Doug Alderman, Vice President Sales and Marketing, PRIDE Seeds, AgReliant Genetics Inc.

Foster started his career with PRIDE Seeds as an Assistant District Sales Manager (ASDM) while attending the University of Guelph. After working in the agricultural retail sector, he returned to PRIDE Seeds in 2005 and accepted a full-time position as a DSM covering Southwestern Ontario.

In 2011 he moved into the role of Market Development Agronomist.

“Dan has been a big part of the successful development of the region for the past 12 years and is uniquely qualified to lead the marketing department in positioning PRIDE Seeds products with our dealers so farmers can maximize performance on their farms,” Alderman added.

PRIDE Seeds is also pleased to welcome Matt Chapple to the position of Market Development Agronomist for the region. Chapple is a graduate of the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus with an Associate Diploma in Agriculture and an Associate Diploma in Environmental Management.

Born and raised on a family farm near Chatham, he has nine years of experience with AgReliant Genetics research.

Alderman said, “Matt has his Certified Crop Advisor designation and is a well qualified agronomist who will add strength to our agronomy team as we continue the strong growth for PRIDE.”

“As we position ourselves for continued growth, Kathy Rankin will assume the role of Digital Media and Events Co-ordinator, and Karen Robinet will move into the position of Marketing Communications Coordinator,” Alderman added. “These organizational moves support a comprehensive strategy, providing more focused support for our customers.”
